Confiscation Law

Branding & Web Design

This project was undertaken in collaboration with Get You Known.

Confiscation Law serves as a source for legal expertise in confiscation law, the Proceeds of Crime Act, forfeiture, exclusion applications, and more. We were engaged to develop a professional new website incorporating the Queen Street Chambers brand identity.

Primary Logo

The Confiscation Law logo features a sleek, modern design with the word "CONFISCATION" rendered in a refined, all-uppercase sans-serif typeface, conveying strength and professionalism. Beneath it, the word "LAW" is centred in a smaller, structured front, flanked by two clean horizontal lines that add balance and stability. The minimalist black-and-white colour scheme reinforces a sense of authority and precision, reflecting the firm's expertise and clarity in legal matters.

Secondary Logo

The favicon for Confiscation Law features a bold, circular background with a geometric monogram of the letters "C" and "L." The clean, intersecting lines create a modern and authoritative aesthetic, reflecting the brand’s focus on precision and structure.

Website

The old website featured a basic, minimalistic design with limited visual hierarchy and branding elements. The layout appeared outdated, lacking engaging features that resonate with modern users. The new website’s bold headers, clean typography, and organised layout elevate the overall visual appeal while reinforcing brand authority. The new website replaces the long, text-heavy layout of the old site with well-organised, sectioned content that highlights key information, enhancing readability. Strategically placed calls to action now guide users toward engagement.

By improving navigation, content structure, and visual hierarchy, the new website delivers an intuitive experience, making it easy for users to access resources and explore information relating to this complex area of law.
